Hello and happy Friday! It’s getting to be that holiday time of year…can you feel it?

I am a lover of the holidays, but not the holiday stress…as I’m sure you are too! 😊 Part of what I love about the holidays is a lot of the cheer that runs around, so I’ve been making a bunch of holiday gifts with that in mind for the people in my life, as well as a few custom ornament orders. I was even getting into full holiday mood with “Santa Baby” playing through my head…and then it hit me—I really should just share these custom holiday goodies as an option in the shop!

It never occurred to me when I first started hand lettering that I’d so quickly end up wanting to letter on pretty much every surface except paper. I mean, sure, I practiced calligraphy on paper and still do…but almost right out the gate, I was determined to try it on any other surface imaginable. First it was glass, then plastic, then random things (my arm, for example)…and, surprisingly fast, it was on wood.
