Happy Halloween! Are you ready for some [Covid safe] spooks and thrills?
I will be spending today lettering away for a custom order (more exciting details on that and other sweet projects, soon!), but after a good night sleep, I opted to take a moment for some Halloween lettering fun.
So…today I thought I’d share a full process video of some hand lettering for your viewing pleasure! It’s always fun to take some time for practice, so I wanted to share that small chunk of time with you.
For this Happy Halloween lettering, I used my beloved and under-utilized Kuretake Fude Brush Metallics, Posca Paint Markers, Sakura Gelly Roll Metallics (my faves!), and my Marvy Uchida Just Glitter pen. Since it was just for practice, I used my handy and inexpensive Michael’s brand black card stock paper. I’ll include links to all these items below if you’d like to check them out for your own lettering fun!
This video is edited to double speed. I hope you enjoy the process!
XO,
Jade
PS Did anyone notice I forgot the essential pumpkin in this design? Sigh. Next year! 🙂
