✿ Are these markers durable?
My lettering is weather and waterproof—all my outdoor wood signs and ink combinations have been tested for durability by longterm soaking. 😊However, please note that bare wood slices ("wood cookies") can crack in some cases from shifting back and forth from wet to dry. When wood dries, it shrinks, and this repeated process can result in instability. Some like this look as it is the natural aging process of wood, but your sign is sprayed with a protective polyurethane to help. You may wish to further treat it with a marine-type sealant before using it to additionally prevent cracks. (I do not use these as they can change the look of the wood to be more glossy or darker toned.)
